Privacy Policy

At Arthik.money, we are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Arthik web application and related services.

The short version: Arthik.money sees exactly what you choose to give it — your Google sign-in details and the bank statements you upload. The statement file itself is never stored: it is read in memory and discarded, and only the transactions read out of it are kept. Arthik.money does not read SMS, does not access your location or contacts, and does not connect to your bank.

Account information

• —When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo.
• —We do not receive or store your Google password.

Statements you upload

• —The statement file is never stored. It is held in memory only while it is being read — seconds — and is never written to disk, ours or anyone else's. There is no copy of your PDF to lose, hand over, or leak.
• —What we keep is the transaction data read out of it: the date, the amount, whether it went in or out, the description line exactly as your bank wrote it, the running balance, the account number printed on the statement, and the category we assign.
• —We also keep a short record of the upload itself — the file name, the bank, the period it covers, and how many transactions it held — so your import history makes sense to you.
• —If your statement is password-protected, the password is used once to open the file and is never stored or written to our logs.

What we never collect:

• —SMS messages of any kind — the product has no SMS access.
• —Your location, contacts, or anything else on your device.
• —Bank credentials — there is no bank login or account linking.

Data retention:

• —Statement files are not retained at all — there is nothing to delete, because nothing was kept.
• —Extracted transaction data is retained while your account is active.
• —You can request deletion of your data at any time.
• —On account deletion, all data is permanently removed within 30 days.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how the website is used (pages visited, features used). This is standard, aggregated usage analytics:

• —IP anonymization is enabled.
• —No advertising cookies are set and no data is used for ad personalization.
• —Your financial data is never sent to analytics.
