How we check our numbers.

The standards behind everything written on Arthik.money — because a site that reads bank statements for a living doesn’t get to be casual about accuracy.

Who writes here

Every article on Arthik.money carries a named author with a public author page. We are a two-person team; we don't publish anonymous or mass-produced content, and nothing is published that neither of us is prepared to put a name to.

We are engineers and product builders, not chartered accountants or SEBI-registered investment advisers — and our writing stays inside that boundary: we explain how things work and how to think about decisions. We do not tell you which financial product to buy. That is also the product's own rule: Arthik never names a fund, a stock, or anything it could earn a commission on.

Where our numbers come from

Every figure that isn't from our own product carries a source, and we prefer primary ones:

  • Tax rules and limits — the Income Tax Department (incometax.gov.in) and the Income-tax Act itself.
  • Banking and rates — the Reserve Bank of India (rbi.org.in) and the issuing institution's official pages.
  • Product claims — the shipped product. Under our internal 'Rule Zero', a user-facing numeric claim must be literally true of what the product does today.

Where a figure changes over time (interest rates, scheme limits), we say so rather than freeze a number that will silently go stale.

Dates, updates, and staleness

Articles show when they were published and, where materially revised, when they were last updated. Tax articles state the financial year they describe. If you're reading a money article without a date, be suspicious — including ours.

Corrections

If we got something wrong, email support@arthik.money — it reaches a person, not a queue. Verified errors are corrected in the article itself with an update note. We'd rather be corrected than quietly wrong.

What this content is not

Nothing on this site is investment, tax, or legal advice. Articles explain concepts and decision frameworks in general terms; your situation is specific. For decisions with serious consequences, consult a qualified professional — a chartered accountant for tax, a SEBI-registered adviser for investments.
